MEET THE FOUNDER
Born and raised in Newark, NJ, Sharrah L. Culver-Gardner is a passionate traveler who attended Weequahic High School and pursued higher education in liberal arts at Essex County College and criminal justice at Kean College.
As a dedicated mother of two, the joys of travel with her daughter, Jordan, has been one of the most rewarding experiences. Jordan is 16 years younger than her son, and she wishes that they could have created joyous memories of travel in his youth.
Gems to Jewels Inc. was founded in 2023; a nonprofit with the vision of affording families the enriching experience of travel.
The mission of her organization is to create a community that supports the cultivation of travel and discovery for children of all ages and backgrounds through donations and collective support.
The friendships and experiences gained from her travels have had a profound impact, fueling her commitment to making travel accessible to more families.
